Marie became an icon in the real estate
industry throughout Oklahoma and was admired and respected in many other states
through the National Referral Roster of Realtors® as well as her many trainees
and fellow Realtors®.
She set and maintained high standards
in her Real Estate practices. Her principles of honesty and fairness made
her beloved and trusted by all who have been associated with her.
Marie Burroughs CRS, GRI, became a Realtor® in 1972 and early in her career
was aware
of the need for solid leadership in the sales and training fields. She
established Burroughs Company Realtors® in 1973 and founded the Marie Burroughs
School of Real Estate in 1974.
Marie completed the NAR®/HUD Certification
entitled; "At Home with Diversity, One America Principles". and becme an
approved Instructor to offer this course to other Professionals and
the Public.
Marie had also acquired the NAR designation
of Seniors Real Estate Specialist®.
The service SRES® Designees provide is to
guide the 50+ home buyer and seller through a professionally sound, successful
real estate transaction. SRES® Designees are able to provide this expert service
by utilizing the invaluable knowledge acquired during the SRES® course and
experience gained while actively participating in the real estate market. Our
SRES® Designees strive to become the prudent real estate professional.
